Bobs and curling for 1930's hair

To create 1930's style hair you will need:

- Curling tongs
- Pintail Comb
- Silver Sectioning Clips
- Grips
- Wide toothed hairbrush.
- Heat Protector Spray
- Protective Cape

How to create:

- Brush the hair thoroughly to rid of any knots.
- Section the hair using a pintail comb. Section from the parting down towards the ear on both sides, and at the crown.
- Curl the first section using the tongs at a temperature of 23 degrees. Curl the hair away from the body towards the head. Pin in place with a silver sectioning pin in order to allow to cool.
- Repeat until the front of the hair has been curled and pinned in place.
- Backcomb the lower section of the hair at the back upwards towards the head. Backcomb by creating the knot then pushing down to the root with the comb.
- Once backcombed to desired amount, roll up to create the bob shape. Secure tightly with grips and v grips to keep secure.
- Take the last top section and pull this down to cover the backcombed shape. Use a pintail comb to position the hair around it making sure that the hair is fully covering the backcomb.
- Brush out the front curls by brushing the curl through the palm of the hand.
- Apply shine spray and brush again.
- Hold the ends of the hair and allow for the hair to take its own shape and then pin in place around the bob shape created.
